The Weeknd’s unique ability to combine unusual sounds with intricate arrangements of melody and harmony are the hallmarks of his sound. “Prisoner” (featuring vocals from Lana Del Rey), for instance, contains hints of rock influences, while “The Hills” adds unexpected guitar power chords. The Weeknd has the uncanny ability to make intricate complexities seem effortless. That’s a quality that you’ll definitely notice in the music on “Beauty Behind the Madness.”

The Weeknd has been troubled for several years, and this is evident in his music. Though The Weeknd’s popularity has brought him fame, he’s struggled emotionally and the album is not without its share of dark moments. Although the music on “Beauty Behind the Madness” is excellent, the album’s production quality is not up to par. The Weeknd is also surrounded by high-profile producers including Kanye West, Max Martin, and Illangelo. And the album’s other stars include Ed Sheeran and Labrinth.

“Beauty Behind the Madness” is an album that stands out among the Year 3 albums and is highly recommended for fans of the R&B genre. The Weeknd’s music is accessible to everyone, and his style combines hip-hop and R&B with grimy rock. Abel Tesfaye’s sound is one of the most unique and original on the market. And his lyrics are as heartfelt as the songs themselves.

“Beauty Behind the Madness” is The Weeknd’s third album, and it’s full of raw talent. “The Hills” features an epic instrumental and “Earned It (Fifty Shades of Grey) is another excellent example. The outro of both songs is executed beautifully. It’s difficult to resist The Weeknd’s songs, and you’ll find plenty to love here.

In his sixth track off BBTM, “Acquainted,” The Weeknd reunites with producer Illangelo and ponders the possibility of love. This song’s lyrics hint at a metaphor of Tesfaye’s new relationship with the mainstream music industry. Originally recorded as “Girls Born in the 90’s,” the track’s name was changed after it leaked with the names of Billboard chart-toppers.  smink

The Weeknd’s performance in Toronto was incredible. His songs were performed on an electric stage that was engulfed in lazers and psychedelic grids. The Weeknd also performed some of his older hits. In fact, his hometown concert sold out the ACC, cementing his status as the best new artist of the year. The Weeknd is a versatile artist whose career in music has only begun, and the talent is only going to continue to grow. The Weeknd has already become one of the most popular artists of the decade.

The Weeknd’s debut album, BBTM, is a mid-stage era in his career, falling between his trilogy era and his more pop-sounding sound. It packs in RnB bangers. And while there are a few songs that are undoubtedly chart-topping, BBTM is a gem in his discography. Aside from the BBTM singles, there are three more hits on this album, including “Beauty Behind the Madness.”

Drake’s latest album is more mature, and reveals his roots in Ethiopian music. While his songs sound familiar, his voice carries a new authority. He croons about popping pills, fucking bitches and living the trill. His album is a perfect blend of hip-hop, trap, and R&B. You can’t miss it. But you can’t help but fall in love with it.
